By using and ordering through the Banks of Perth website, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms & conditions set out in the following paragraphs. Please read through the terms & conditions, should you not agree with these terms & conditions you should not use this website. If you do use the website, your conduct indicates that you agree to be bound by the terms & conditions.
We emphasise that materials specifications, weights, measurements, etc., shown are given as a guide to our customers and are adhered to as closely as possible but must be regarded as approximate only. We reserve the right to make improvements and modifications to skis, equipment and clothing which we consider necessary from time to time.
Making a purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our products, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Our system uses real time online credit card payment. This means that once you purchase your order our 3rd party payment provider will instantly process the transaction.
Owing to the rates of exchange, inflation and VAT all prices are subject to alteration without notice.
Delivery will be to U.K destinations only, no overseas orders. A carriage charge of £3.50 + VAT is payable for orders under £100.00. Free delivery on orders of over £100.00.
We will normally send your order within 7 business days.
We use Royal Mail and Parcel Force to deliver your parcels. Larger items we use Citylink next day delivery, except when the orders are placed Friday, Saturday & Sunday when next day delivery is not available. On receipt of your parcel you will be required to sign for it, if you are not present a card will be left with information on how to have the parcel re-delivered or how to collect it.
Bulky items will be charged at £10.00 due to the size and weight. These items will be sent by carrier giving 48hr delivery except where the order has been placed on a Fri, Sat or Sunday when next day delivery is not available. On receipt of your parcel you will be required to sign for it, if you are not present a card will be left with information on how to have the parcel re-delivered or how to collect it.
Shipping and Handling
All shipping and handling costs will be added to your purchases before final payment.
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase.
Goods can be returned for a full refund (including delivery charge) if a) they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched. b) the goods have been dispatched as ordered but are unwanted, then they can be returned to us providing they are in saleable condition. Any delivery charges incurred are non-repayable. In either event, simply return the item to the store along with your receipt. Please contact the store on 01738 624928 or email us.
Items cannot be exchanged. If you would like a different size, colour or style you must return the original item, and then re-order the product you require.
The consumer has a duty to take reasonable care of the goods delivered must return them with their original packaging and labelling and be accompanied by the original delivery note. Please make sure the parcel is well packaged, clearly mark your name and address inside the parcel and that you compensate/guarantee the parcel when you return it to us as we are not responsible for missing/undelivered items. The card used for the purchase will be credited with the original purchase amount (less any delivery charge paid where appropriate.)
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

Banks of Perth do not disclose buyers information to third parties.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, UK consumers have the legal right to cancel their order within seven working days of receipt of the goods (excluding made to order items and any other items as permitted under local law where applicable). The mandatory 7 working day cancellation period commences the day following the delivery of goods and as a goodwill gesture we will permit a further 7 days after that for return of goods. The cost of return of goods is the consumers responsibility.
Skis with Bindings
Skis purchased with bindings will not be fitted unless we have a ski boot for fitting. You can bring them into Banks of Perth and have them fitted free of charge. Proof of purchase is required.
Washing: Most garments are tapped with instructions for washing or dry cleaning. Most clothing can be washed in cool water, by hand, using a neutral soap or g-clean. No item should be left folded in a wet or damp condition. Choose a good drying day.
Skis: All skis, no matter what they cost, may be accidentally broken. We strongly advise insurance.
Ski Boots: Boots are made in various plastic materials with clips with are riveted in such a manner that they will break off rather than tear the boot.
Please Note - Ski Boots are not waterproof.
Ski Clothing: Materials used for ski clothing are some of the best available, however, they are not indestructible. Seams, zips, and materials can be damaged with falling on some types of snow.
